Our custom made knives are produced by one of the most skilled makers in Africa. Theuns is a full time maker and a member of the South African Knife Makers Guild. He has won "Best in Show" at several Guild events. His recent tours of the United States has custom knife collectors in awe. Theuns' use of natural high grade materials, exceptional attention to detail, and a master jewelers’ eye for precision fit and finish are his trademark. There is no doubt that Theuns will soon be one of the worlds top custom knife makers.

All Theuns' knives are uniquely made one at a time completely by hand. No two knives are the same. Theuns does not use patterns, jigs or any templates in his work. Each handmade knife comes with its own handmade Cape Buffalo Sheath and a makers certificate.

While Theuns' specializes in folding knives that sell for up to $800 each, he makes fixed blade knives for us, most of which feature warthog ivory tusk handles.

We talked to many custom makers before we selected Theuns. We have found his creativity, flexibility, and quality to be first rate. He works with a variety of custom handle materials (giraffe bone, Kudu horn, etc.) so if you have a special request drop us an e-mail. The photos do not do these beautiful knives justice.
