We search all over the globe for our African Weapons. In this section
you will see knives we have purchased from museums, shields from estate
sales, and spears from one of the largest private collections in the
world. We select only the best pieces and present them to you on the
following pages.
Please keep in mind that the items shown here represent only a small
fraction of our inventory. If you are looking for something specific
(like a matched set of spears to cross under a shield in your safari
room) or just want some counsel, give us a call. We have many sources
around the world, and chances are if we don't have what you're looking
for, we'll be able to find it.
While we offer a wide range of products, we specialize in antique Maasai
lion spears. If made prior to 1940, there's a good chance the piece you
see helped a young Maasai boy become an adult warrior (moran) by successfully
defeating a lion in spear-to-claw combat.
