Rhodesian Teak is one of the most insect and moisture resistant woods in the world so it is no wonder that portions of that original rail way are still in use today. Rhodesian Teak has a reputation for being one of the most beautiful and durable exotic woods in the world. Long ago the President of Rhodesia classified this unique and striking species as a National Treasure. As a result, to this day Rhodesian Teak still cannot leave the country as raw lumber and thus this beautiful line of furniture is made in a factory there that blends modern machinery with the excellent woodworking skills of the local Shona people. The bar ships assembled on a pallet and weighs almost 400 pounds as Rhodesian Teak is an extremely dense wood. Due to that, you will need to have the bar delivered to a business that has a loading dock and a forklift. The rest of the items ship flat (broken down) to minimize freight costs.
