Our “Big Five” Pro Staffers were selected from the most popular hunting destinations in Southern Africa and they are all recognized as being at the very top of their game. Combined, the PH’s we are working with have over 100 years of African hunting experience. Dirk de Bod (www.safarisnamibia.com) Dirk is the Namibian who won the 2008 SCI PH of the Year and is one of the most skilled PH’s on the Dark Continent today. He has a very interesting background and used to own one of the largest gun shops in Namibia. Johan Calitz (www.johancalitzsafaris.co.za) Johan was the primary PH featured on the “Under Wild Skies” TV show with Tony Makris. This is the gentleman who Craig Boddington took his largest elephant with a few years back. Johan takes more big tuskers out of Botswana and Mozambique than anyone else year in and year out. John Sharp (www.john-sharp-safaris.com) From Zimbabwe, John is a consistent winner at the Zimbabwe PH Awards banquet and in 2006 took honors for both the largest elephant and largest leopard to come out of the country that year. Douglas McNeil (www.legendaryadventure.com) Douglas was the PH featured on the “Cabela’s Dangerous Game” TV Show and is a third generation hunter who works in Tanzania. He is equally adept with a fly rod or a camera. Charles Price (www.swartkeisafaris.com) From South Africa, Charles' father was one of the Game Ranch Pioneers who re-established many of the native species of that country and made it one of the premier plains game destinations. Charles has been hunting for almost his entire life and runs a great operation. Not only do all of them use our existing gear and test any new products, but we are in contact with them as often as need be so we can get you real time answers to your questions.
